Now days internet browsing has become part of our lives. We like to read articles on different topics and the web pages that we like the most and think that we may need these later , we bookmark those  pages. The internet browsing has come so far , but the way we bookmark our favorite pages is same old, has not changed so far. The same classic look , but if there were an options to manage bookmarks in stunning looking interface and also enhanced search and tagging features?. Well actually there is a way to enhance you bookmarks using a Chrome extension called Dewey.

How to use Dewey Bookmarks…………….

First of all install this app from Google Chrome web store Dewey , you won’t need any signups or reregistration as this app is only for managing bookmarks. You only need to install this app.
After installation when you will launch Dewey, it will open in new tab, and that’s it  you are ready to use your new and amazing look of Bookmarks.

 

Dewey uses the grid layout for bookmarks just like Google Chrome’s new tab page. But by default it does not show thumbnails of bookmarks, to enable thumbnails we need to go to settings through gear icon and than enable the option “Show Thumbnails”. As shown bellow.

 

You can change the title , link or add tag and even delete your bookmarks by clicking the edit button on the bookmarks. A popup like following will open to perform these operations.

Dewey provides awesome searching capabilities through the search bar at top. You can search using your selected keywords, tags ,titles and even URLs.

It also allows you manipulate your bookmarks using keyboard through the tab and arrow keys and to open any bookmark just press enter.
Dewey also allows you to sort your bookmarks by date,title and Url.
